David has been drawn to create title sequences since the very beginning of his career. He approaches each one as an entry point — a first read of the culture, myth, or human story the film is about to tell, the moment when the tone and meaning of everything that follows start to take shape.
Rotoscopy was David's way into animation. He started drawing as a kid, and this technique let him carry that into animation — working through emotion via the line and intention of the drawing itself. It's become a kind of steady, focused process for him.
Creating animated sequences for films, series, and documentaries has been a core part of David's work. Each project means working closely with directors and producers, understanding their vision, and finding the right way to bring the concepts and stories into designs and motion.Â
This showreel presents a selection of David's projects, showing the styles he works in and the kind of work he's drawn to. It reflects his creative path so far.
David's work sits across title sequences and animated sequences for films and series. He has a particular interest in 3D exploration and hand-drawn animation, where character work brings depth and emotion to a scene. His approach draws on different animation techniques, always aiming for moments that carry sensitive weight.
